Color Society is an AI-powered seasonal color analysis app. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We aim to be clear and direct — no legalese where plain language will do.

Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's core functionality.
Information you provide directly:
- Your first name, used to personalize your in-app experience
- Your email address, used for account identification and support
- Your seasonal color palette selection, stored to remember your preferences
Images you submit for analysis:
- Photos of clothing items you choose to photograph or upload
- These images are processed to identify dominant colors and match them to your seasonal palette
We do not collect photos of your face or any biometric data. Images you submit are of clothing items only.

How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively to operate the app:
- To personalize your experience with your name and saved palette
- To analyze clothing images against your seasonal color palette using AI
- To remember your preferences across app sessions
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the app's functionality.

AI Processing & Third-Party Services
Color Society uses third-party AI services to analyze clothing images. When you submit an image for analysis, it is sent to the following provider:
- OpenAI — operated by OpenAI, LLC. Used as tha AI analysis provider.
Images are transmitted to these services solely for the purpose of color analysis and are not used by us for any other purpose. Please review the privacy practices of the provider:

Data Storage
Your personal information (name, email, palette preference, and analysis history) is stored locally on your device using your device's built-in storage. This data does not leave your device except when images are submitted for AI analysis as described above.
We do not operate a remote database or user account system. Your data lives on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear the app's data through your device settings.

Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except:
- The AI providers listed above, solely for image analysis
- When required by law or to protect the safety of our users

Children's Privacy
Color Society is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your Rights & Choices
You have full control over your data within the app:
- You can clear all stored data at any time via the Settings screen in the app
- You can delete analysis history independently from your account data
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
